I'm happy with my new office now. And my new job. And my new working hour. I guess i really can not
work over the normal working hour. See, i am a lazy ass, and i really love sleeping. It tortures me when i
don't get enough time to sleep and lazying myself. My boyfriend always tell me that i am a lazy ass, but i don't
care. I work hard at the office, always try to give my best shot to every assignment and not to forget try to
mingle with co-workers. It's tiring, you know. Especially for a shut-in person like me to socialize with many
persons. Well, but i already get used to do it. And that's why i need my own time to lazying myself !!! In the
weekend, i usually spend my whole day in my room, alone with no noises and annoyance. You see, i will get
happier when i am alone. It's important to boost my mood for the next week, and important for my
psychology health. So please, do not bug me when i spend my day alone in the weekend, because i love it so
much, and it gives me much happiness than everyone else. Okay, it's time to sleep now. Bye.
When I see the picture of other family which consists of husband, wife and a child I feel like I wanna have that kind of family later in the future. A mini family which consists of only me, my husband and my
daughter/son.
Having a small family makes you aware of other things that is important in life too, like your self-development, your hobbies, your husband and your child who will get the adequate affection and attention, not much and not less, and the most important is: affection and attention for yourself. I mean, a wife and mother is the pillar of the family, it is our job to take care of the family. If you have too many kids, I guess your time will be occupied for your children only, and sometimes you forget about your husband or even yourself. If we take care of the pillar, it will not broken, ergo, the family will still be united, thanks to the pillar.
In my opinion, one of the most causes of the husband's affair is because the wife is not smart enough to take care the family, to balance between taking care of your child and your husband and also taking care of your condition, physical and psychological.
So, yeah, i wanna have a small family in the future, with God's will of course.

Handsome Woman:

This phrase is very dated and rarely used in today's English. Those

she is masculine.

Been busy this time around, and i found myself preparing to depart from my current office to a new one, a better one, hopefully. Okay, i just read a blog of Kim Daul, a late Korean supermodel who committed suicide in 2009 at the age of 20. I can see from her writing that she had a witty and quirky personality, and suddenly i just love her and feel pity of her. In the young age she suffered from epic depression and nobody even cared a little to help her. Well, since everybody think that depression can be cured by the time passes, I'm not so surprise that so many people kill themselves out of depression. Man, if you think that depression can be cured by the time passes, there will be no suicide in this world. The suicidal intention is caused by the depression, and nobody even dare to acknowledge that depression is very dangerous if it doesn't treated well by the expert, especially in Indonesia where the psychiatric medicine is not so advanced yet.
My message is: you MUST treat depression well if you want to reduce the number of suicide. Suicide is reduce the value of human's life, you know.
Okay, here's the thing : kenapa orang-orang jaman sekarang pada gak punya COMMON SENSE semuaaaaa ???
Mulai dari pengendara kendaraan pribadi atau umum yang ugal-ugalan, orang-orang BEGO yang ngobat tapi tetep nyetir jadinya malah nabrak 12 orang trus bikin 9 orang MATI, orang-orang BRENGSEK yang suka ngedorong-dorong pas mau masuk ke busway sampe bikin gw ampir jatoh nyium aspal Harmoni blablabla yada yada. Kalo orang-orang ntu masih kepikiran untuk memikirkan orang lain dan menghormati orang lain, ato dengan kata lain masih memiliki COMMON SENSE gw yakin negara ini tertib deh. Masalahnya banyak manusia Indonesia yang udah dididik lewat PPKn jaman sekolah dulu gak ngerti en ngeresapin apa pentingnya PPKn. Sumpah, mediocre lo semua ! Semua itu dimulai dari COMMON SENSE, mau jadi pemimpin sama anggota DPR yang baik juga harus punya COMMON SENSE yang kuat. Kalo gak ya jadinya kaya anggota DPR Indonesia sekarang. Kerjaannya cuma bikin skandal doang, hasil kerja kaga keliatan.
Coba deh yah, tolong dipikirkan COMMON SENSE kalian kemana ! *kesel
Okay, I slightly have a question arisen on my mind : why did we join WTO ? What for ?
Fyi, WTO stands for World Trade Organization, an international organization under the United Nations. Many countries join WTO for the sake of "liberating trade across the globe". Indonesia is one of those countries. Many says (by saying 'many', I mean the developed countries) that joining WTO gives so much good opportunities and protections. I can say that, when a country joins WTO, it has to be ready to open its territory for trader from another country. Consequently, it has to be ready for competition.
The problem is, if there is a country which is not ready yet, but because of political and diplomatic force from other countries it has to make itself ready no matter what consequences that will occur in the future. Ready or not, you have to follow the giant. Hey, it's WTO, man ! the spreader of free trade idealism ! you will be pushed by other countries if you still decline to join. Imagine your country is still an outsider (re: not joining WTO), no country wants to trade with you (well, maybe not 'there is none at all' but with almost whole nations have the WTO membership, you know what it feels like). If your country are blessed with good natural resources and human resources maybe it will survive, but still, like international law says, a nation always needs a nation.
Back to the problem, a country which is not ready yet will panting to keep up with the competition. Yes the membership will give positive effect regarding the quality of the products, but for the country which is VERY not ready, joining WTO will gradually kill your country. The underrated domestic products will compete with other products from other country, and before you know it, the market is overflowed with imported products. Because of free trade campaign, you have to lower the import tax, even there will be free tax in this year or next year (i forget the exact year). Last thing we know is domestic business will be weaker than before and we can not protect it because of WTO rules and principals (even safeguard rules don't help).
I am not against WTO. My mini thesis topic was actually about WTO, specifically the TBT Agreement and I can say that joining WTO will give you many advantages, IF your country is ready enough to face the consequences. It means that your country must have a strong bargain position on economy, politic and diplomatic. If not, just kill yourself when you know your country joins WTO, especially if you are a businessman or a trader (just kidding btw) :D
